AUSTIN – Kristi Cohen has been working in real estate since 1999. While living in Tennessee, she started her career in commercial property management and then moved on to work for a land development company. In 2001, Kristi became a Section 8 housing inspector for Tennessee Housing & Development Agency. Within that same year, she was promoted to Senior Project Manager and managed a team of other inspectors and auditors. In 2008, Kristi became a licensed Texas real estate agent and licensed broker in 2014. She specializes in short sales, first-time, move-up and investment properties. Specifically, Kristi is known for her attention to detail and no-nonsense advice.
In addition to helping others with their real estate needs, Kristi has owned and managed a number of residential rental properties. This hands-on experience with investment properties is what makes her effective when advising other investors. She has a number of tools for calculating return, as well as experience with 1031 exchanges and capital gains taxes. In her spare time, Kristi enjoys concerts in the park and walking around the downtown Austin area where she and her son reside.
